Whether you choose one, five, or ten hours of lessons, every session is designed to boost your confidence and academic success. Mrs Wear uses a distance learning approach, allowing you to control your own schedule and complete your work at a time that works for you. This flexibility means that you do not need to be in a UK time zone and you don’t have to commit to a particular day or time! Read on to see how the tutoring programme works:
Step One: Inform
you will purchase a block of one, five or ten lessons. With this purchase, you will receive a document to complete where you can give Mrs Wear information including the topic you need help with, your goals and ambitions for your GCSE and even provide example work so she can see what you are capable of producing. The more detailed information you provide, the more tailored Mrs Wear can make your lessons.
Step Two: Support
once Mrs Wear has the information from you, she will create your very first lesson. This will require you to watch one (sometimes more) YouTube video(s) and then complete a task.
Step Three: Learn
when you are ready, watch the videos and complete the task you have been set and send it back to Mrs Wear.
Step Four: Improve
Mrs Wear will mark your task and send you video feedback. If you have paid for more than one lesson, then she will also send you the next video and task to complete. Each lesson builds on the one that came before and is created uniquely for you and what you need.
One to One
If you would like a more traditional tutoring approach of one to one hour long lessons at a set time over Zoom or Teams, that is also possible. For these sessions, look for the product titled "One to One Tuition". Again, you can purchase these in blocks of one, five or ten.
