Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde Practice Questions

This resource contains 12 practice questions styled similarly to the AQA English Literature 19th Century Novel exam (though it may also be similar to other exam boards). It will begin with an extract that you need to read, followed by a question. The question will require you to
 analyse the extract and the wider novel.

The questions cover themes, characters and key literary devices in the novel.

After each question is a self-assessment checklist and indicative content. This is not a definitive list of everything you must have done, but will help you to check whether you have demonstrated the key skills and knowledge for the question. The indicative content will focus on ideas that a high grade response would typically have covered.

Given the challenge of the practice questions and indicative content, this resource is recommended for students with a target grade of 7 or above in GCSE English Literature.
